Join us in beautiful Island Park for one of our theatre camps. Whether you join us for our immersive weeklong summer camp or our action-packed day camp, you’ll build confidence and skill while having a blast with the Playmill Players. Perfect for aspiring performers of any level!

Summer Camp
Immerse yourself in a week of all-things theatre at The Playmill! From personal coaching to improv to song interpretation and more, you’ll strengthen skills and build confidence in a creative, supportive environment. Then at the end of the week, step into the spotlight for family and friends as you perform solo and group numbers at the Camp Variety Show on the Playmill stage. Summer camp is an unforgettable experience for any aspiring performer!

Cost
Tuition for summer camp is $500.
Payment is due upon registration. Tuition is nonrefundable, but is transferable.

Schedule
Beginning with our 2026 summer camp, we will not offer overnight slots.
Daily, camp will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude after the 4:00 PM performance that evening (approximately 6:30 PM). Families are welcome to attend the same showing as their camper, but will need to obtain their own tickets.
On Friday, the campers will perform a free variety show for family and friends at 11:00 AM. No tickets are required. Camp will conclude following this show. Only snacks will be provided this day.
Day Camp
Join us for a fun-filled day of music, dance, and singing! Campers will participate in collaborative workshops, sharpen skills, and have a blast! Make new friends, explore your creativity, and enjoy the magic of theatre - all in one action-packed day!

Schedule
Camp will begin at 9:00 AM. Camp includes a ticket to the early performance that evening. Campers will have reserved sections to watch the show together.
Parents are welcome to attend as well, but will need to purchase their own tickets and likely will not sit directly next to their camper. We are happy to provide information about where your camper will likely be sitting so you can get a ticket as close as possible if you’re interested.
